Explore the city on this half-day Jeep safari in Madeira

The Half-Day Madeira Jeep Tour begins with the pick-up of guests directly from their hotel, followed by a scenic drive towards Câmara de Lobos, Madeira’s most famous fishing village.

Known for its breathtaking views and for inspiring Sir Winston Churchill’s paintings, this charming village is the perfect place for our first stop, where guests will have around 20 minutes to explore and take photos.

From there, the tour continues to Boca dos Namorados Viewpoint, located at approximately 1,000 meters above sea level. Here, guests can enjoy spectacular panoramic views over Curral das Freiras while learning about the history and traditions of this unique valley from the guide.

Along the way, we pass through Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, an area renowned for its beautiful vineyard landscapes and wine production.

The adventure then heads towards the highlands of Quinta Grande, where we stop to admire the surrounding mountain scenery and picturesque rural settlements.

As the tour reaches the higher areas of the island, the experience becomes off-road, driving through eucalyptus forests towards Jardim da Serra. Along this route, guests will have the opportunity to observe Madeira’s rich flora and fauna while learning about the introduction and importance of eucalyptus trees on the island.

In Jardim da Serra, there will be a stop at a local bar for coffee and restroom facilities.

Between Jardim da Serra and Lugar da Serra, guests may also spot several fruit trees, including chestnut, cherry, and pear trees, which are characteristic of the region.

The tour then continues towards Quinta Grande and the impressive Cabo Girão viewpoint, one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe, offering unforgettable views over the Atlantic Ocean and the southern coast of Madeira.

Before returning to Funchal, the final stop will be at Fajã dos Padres, a peaceful and unique coastal area known for its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere.
